Job summary

The Nature Conservancy is seeking a Finance Manager, AR, IA, MO to lead a finance pod that serves three business units. You will oversee budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and controls while partnering with the Finance Director and division staff to ensure financial stewardship and strategic guidance.

The role emphasizes independence, cross-functional collaboration, and delivering actionable financial recommendations to support funding decisions and organizational priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience using Workday or similar HRIS/ERP systems.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for a pod in partnership with Finance Director.
• Provide financial analysis, modeling, and insights to inform planning and resource allocation.
• Maintain accuracy and integrity of financial data, systems, and controls.
• Support implementation of financial strategies and process improvements.
• Approve accounts receivable/payable and coordinate with accounting staff as needed.
• Support management of private awards and review funding proposals with philanthropy teams.
