Job summary

Sotalent is seeking a Remote Systems Administrator focused on secure data exchange to safeguard data movement between internal systems and external partners. You will own the file transfer infrastructure, manage Windows Server environments, and ensure availability through backups, DR, and performance tuning while adhering to security policies and audit requirements.

The role requires hands-on experience with Kiteworks, Box, and WS FTP, plus the ability to work independently on multiple projects

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with secure data exchange protocols and file transfer services.
• Experience administering Windows Server 2019/2022.
• Proficient in Active Directory and Azure hosting.
• Hands-on with Kiteworks, Box, or WS FTP.
• Knowledge of disaster recovery, backups, and performance tuning.
• Ability to work independently on multiple projects with confidentiality.
• Ability to obtain/maintain government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations for file transport protocols and server environments.
• Execute maintenance, updates, and emergency patching, including after-hours work.
• Manage user access requests and provide connectivity/security support.
• Ensure system availability through backups, disaster recovery, and performance tuning.
• Collaborate with internal teams and customers to resolve tickets and audits.
