Seeking a skilled IT professional to join them as a Remote Systems Administrator focusing on secure data exchange. This is a critical role responsible for ensuring that data moves safely and efficiently between internal systems and external partners.

In this position, you will take ownership of the file transfer infrastructure, handling everything from daily account administration to performance monitoring and complex troubleshooting. You will manage resources across platforms such as WS FTP, Kiteworks, and Box, ensuring all operations align with established security policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day to day operations for file transport protocols and server environments.
• Execute maintenance, updates, and emergency patching, including occasional weekend or after hours work.
• Manage user access requests and provide technical support for connectivity or security issues.
• Ensure system availability through rigorous backup, disaster recovery, and performance tuning activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams and customers to resolve tickets and meet audit requirements.

Professional Requirements

• Extensive experience with SFTP, FTP, TCP IP, and DNS protocols.
• Background in administering Windows Server 2019 or 2022 environments.
• Strong proficiency with Active Directory and Azure cloud hosting.
• Hands on experience with Kiteworks, Box, or WS FTP software suites.
• Knowledge of IT disaster recovery standards and system optimization tools.
• Ability to handle sensitive data with a high degree of confidentiality.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently on multiple projects.

Education and Background

• A Bachelors degree plus at least five years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of training and professional history.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance is mandatory.
