Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. in the Baltimore/DC area seeks a Trades Specialist to join our field-based Commercial Construction sales team.

You will drive top-line growth by selling DEWALT and related brands to end-user customers, build key relationships, mentor local market teams, and collaborate with Channel Marketing while leveraging Salesforce for CRM. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, or related fields preferred.
• 3+ years of Sales or Marketing experience in Construction Supplies with a proven track record delivering results.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, problem-solving, verbal and written communication, organization and multitasking skills.
• Ability to travel up to 50% within territory.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications; Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Achieve top-line sales targets through selling DEWALT, PTE, HTAS, STANLEY, LENOX, IRWIN, BOSTITCH, PORTERCABLE brands to end-user customers.
• Establish, develop, and maintain key relationships with end-user partners and manage user contracts and programs.
• Teach and mentor the local market team on End User development and purchasing processes.
• Partner with Channel Marketing to implement and coordinate marketing initiatives.
• Maintain and use Salesforce.com as a CRM and Planning tool; communicate successes and failures for future improvements.
