Job summary

Method Insurance is hiring a Field Territory Manager for the Eastern Territory. This is a fully remote, exempt role in a national footprint focused on building and growing independent agency relationships and meeting growth targets.

You will drive new business, manage pipelines, and collaborate with underwriting and internal partners to deliver a consultative experience while ensuring profitable growth within the territory.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and initiate conversations with new independent insurance agents.
• Maintain engagement with agencies via meetings, calls, and events.
• Exercise independent judgment in client needs and action plans.
• Meet monthly premium and submission goals in the territory.
• Perform weekly agency visits to drive new contracted partners.
• Build market position by defining agency relationships.
• Apply consultative sales approaches to develop opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to optimize territory performance.
• Maintain territory pipeline with timely follow-up and activity.
• Track opportunities and quotes through submission lifecycle.
• Generate reports on premium growth and agency activity.
• Deliver formal sales presentations to agents.
• Use assigned strategy to resolve objections and boost activity.
• Document all activity in the Agency Relationship Management system.
• Formulate new business strategies with leadership and marketing.
• Identify gaps and drive cross-functional improvements.
• Maintain accurate agency profiles and segmentation in CRM.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
