bioMérieux is seeking a Field Systems Engineer to service customers in Wisconsin/Illinois and across the nation. You will install, maintain, and repair instruments, build trusted customer relationships, and promote service agreements.

The role requires US travel, weekend/on-call rotation, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. A engineering degree or equivalent experience is essential, plus a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering, Electronic Technology, Computer Science, Biomedical or related field.
• 2+ years of professional experience troubleshooting/repair of complex electro-mechanical/electronic/electrical systems.
• In lieu of a Bachelor's, 6+ years of relevant experience may be accepted.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer needs; perform installations, maintenance, upgrades, and repairs.
• Promote service agreements and identify cross-functional sales opportunities.
• Drive field service revenue through billable offerings and instrument moves.
• Attend product training and stay current with company standards.
• Travel for customer visits, including overnight stays as needed.
• Provide on-call support on a rotating schedule.
