Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking a Field Solutions Engineer for the Public Sector to drive opportunities in the SLED space. This role involves face-to-face meetings, advising on data center, edge, cloud, and security solutions to align with customer business needs.

It is a remote position requiring residence in California to support the Southern California territory and collaborate with sales teams. Ideal candidates will have 3–5 years in complex Data Center sales, strong virtualization and

Qualifications

Completed Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required.
3–5 years of experience in a similar role is preferred.
Ability to travel to SHI, Partner, and Customer events.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with account teams to evaluate customer data center environments.
Design tailored infrastructure solutions aligned with business objectives.
Build and maintain relationships with OEMs and partners.
Provide product training and technical education to sales and customers.
Act as a trusted IT advisor for customers with field executives.
Develop strategies for top prospects and acquire new business.
Identify technology opportunities in Data Center, Cloud, Network, Security and Services.
Develop solutions that fit customer needs and budgets.
Engage CIOs, IT Directors, and CTOs for account management.
