Job summary

SHI International Corp. in the United States seeks a Field Solutions Engineer - Public Sector to engage with large customers, build relationships with sales teams, and consult across data center, edge, core, cloud, security, and services.

This remote role requires Arizona residency to support the Arizona/New Mexico territory, coordinating with CIOs, IT Directors, and CTOs. You will design solutions, educate the sales team, and drive opportunities while maintaining vendor partnerships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3–5 years in a similar role with travel ability.
• Experience in Data Center, Cloud, and virtualization.
• Advanced certifications in listed technologies preferred.
• Strong knowledge of multiple OEM technologies.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with account teams to evaluate customer data center environments and infrastructure technologies.
• Design and propose tailored infrastructure solutions that align with customers' business objectives.
• Build and maintain technical relationships with OEMs and strategic partners; stay updated on product information.
• Provide product training and technical education to the sales team and customers.
• Act as a trusted IT advisor for customers, partnering with Field Account Executives.
• Manage the solution practice pipeline by developing strategies for top prospects and new business.
