SHI International Corp. is seeking a Field Solutions Engineer for the Public Sector who will engage with large customers in California. The role is remote, requiring residence in CA, and involves consulting on data center, edge, cloud, and security to uncover opportunities.

You’ll work with sales teams to build relationships and develop tailored infrastructure solutions across multiple tech domains. You will educate the sales team and customers, manage the solution pipeline, and engage with CIOs

Qualifications

Experience in complex Data Center sales opportunities.
Ability to design data center infrastructures including hybrid cloud, SDDC, automation.
Strong knowledge of virtualization and containerization technologies.
Excellent communication with CIOs/IT Directors/CTOs.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with account teams to evaluate customer data center environments.
Design and propose tailored infrastructure solutions aligned with business objectives.
Build and maintain technical relationships with OEMs and partners.
Provide product training and technical education to the sales team and customers.
Act as trusted IT advisor for customers and work with Field Account Executives.
