Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Field Service Technician to support the Field Service Organization, deploying and maintaining mission-critical digital mobile communication systems for government and public safety clients. The role requires on-call coverage 24/7/365 and frequent travel across MN and surrounding states.

You will work with Customers, System Managers, Engineers, Sales teams, Project Managers, Field Engineers, and Service Partners to ensure optimal system operation, troubleshooting,

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in LMR, RF systems, or related technical fields.
• Experience with wired/wireless telecommunications infrastructures.
• Ability to perform on-site and remote support for mission-critical systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for mission-critical systems and applications.
• Deploy, optimize, and repair infrastructure, loggers, subscribers, and network equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance with focus on documentation and trend analysis.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Sales, Project Management and Customer Service teams.
• Deliver weekly activity and accomplishment reports.
