Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Field Service Technician to support the State of Minnesota’s public safety systems. The role requires on-site presence two days per week and 24/7 on-call coverage to ensure mission-critical systems operate reliably.

You will deploy, optimize, and repair complex communication systems, network equipment, and related hardware while coordinating with customers, engineers, and project managers to deliver robust solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in LMR/RF or IT systems, public safety or engineering domains.
• Strong troubleshooting of software-driven electronics and RF/broadband infra.
• Experience with wired/wireless networks and data circuits.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for mission-critical public safety systems.
• Deploy, optimize, and repair infrastructure and related equipment.
• Maintain documentation and weekly activity reports.
• Collaborate with engineering, project management and service teams to meet customer expectations.
