Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support the Field Service Organization, deploying and maintaining mission-critical digital mobile communication systems for Government & Public Safety customers.

You'll collaborate with customers, system managers, engineers, sales, project managers, field engineers and service partners to keep systems running 24/7/365, including RF and network optimization, testing and documentation.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in technology or related field.
• US citizenship with ability to obtain necessary security clearance.
• CJIS Security Policy compliance and background check.
• Ability to work at a distance from direct supervision and in stressful situations.
• Excellent communication and self-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, optimize, and repair mission-critical digital mobile systems.
• Provide technical support for RF and wired/wireless networks.
• Maintain documentation and perform preventative maintenance.
• Collaborate with engineering, sales, project management and service partners.
• Deliver weekly activity reports and keep systems running 24/7/365.
