Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Field Service Technician to deploy, optimize, and repair mission-critical digital mobile systems for Government & Public Safety customers. You will coordinate with Engineers, Project Managers, and Service Partners to ensure system reliability and performance.

The role requires 3+ years of LMR/RF or IT systems experience, strong problem-solving, and the ability to work remotely with travel across MN and surrounding states. US work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in LMR, RF Systems, or related fields.
• U.S. citizen with ability to obtain required security clearance.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely; employer sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Providing technical support for mission-critical digital mobile systems.
• Deploying, optimizing, and repairing infrastructure, loggers, subsystems, and networking equipment.
• Performing preventative maintenance with trend analysis and thorough documentation.
• Collaborating with Engineering, Project Management, Sales, and Customer Service to meet customer expectations.
• Delivering reports of activities and accomplishments on a weekly basis.
