Job summary

Motorola Solutions in Minnesota is seeking a Field Service Technician to support the State of Minnesota public safety systems. This on-site/remote role requires 24/7/365 on-call availability and two days per week on customer sites within MN.

You will deploy, optimize, and repair complex communications networks, loggers, and server hardware, working with engineers, project managers, and customers to ensure reliable operation of critical systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in LMR, RF systems, IT networks, or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of wired/wireless communications, LAN/WAN.
• Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills under pressure.
• U.S. citizen with ability to obtain required security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for mission-critical public safety systems.
• Deploy, optimize, and repair infrastructure, loggers, subscribers, and networking gear.
• Perform preventive maintenance with trend analysis and documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering, project management, and sales to meet customer needs.
