Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Field Service Technician to provide on-site technical support for IR equipment and to maintain high customer satisfaction. The role requires working at customer locations, up to 80% travel, and remote coordination from the assigned region.

Qualified candidates will have at least 3 years of field service or equivalent technical experience, a High School diploma, and the ability to pass a motor vehicle background check.

• Proven ability to work at customer sites and document service activity.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical support during repair/installation at customers' sites to ensure standards are met.
• Ensure safe work practices and report all incidents with zero lost time.
• Improve responsiveness to customers by being available for sales calls and providing solutions.
• Complete required reports and invoicing on time for services.
• Suggest process improvements to increase data accuracy and response speed.
• Maintain proficiencies with vibration analysis and laser alignment for balancing and testing.
• Generate sales leads and input information into the CRM for opportunities.
