Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Field Service Technician to provide field technical support for IR products, focusing on customer satisfaction and 24/7 service readiness. The role covers on-site repairs and installations, safety compliance, and collaboration with the IR team to deliver reliable solutions.

The position is remote with a base in Florida or the southeastern U.S., involving up to 80% travel and a competitive annual pay range.

Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant technical background including millwright, maintenance, engineering, field service experience.
• Must have a valid license and be able to pass a Motor Vehicle background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support during repair and/or installation at customers' sites.
• Ensure safe work practices and report safety incidents; strive for zero lost time.
• Improve responsiveness by making sales calls and providing solutions to customers.
• Complete reports: Service Reports, Customer Call Reports, Expense Reports and Time Sheets.
• Suggest improvements to processes and procedures to speed up customer response time and data accuracy.
• Maintain proficiencies using vibration analysis and laser alignment equipment.
• Generate sales leads and document in the CRM for opportunities.
