Job summary

ZEISS Group is seeking a Field Service Technician, Level I, to install, calibrate, and repair Coordinate Measuring Machines and related metrology equipment across Canada. This entry-level role provides formal and on-the-job training, with supervision before independent field service across customer sites.

You will develop proficiency in electrical, mechanical, software, and control-system troubleshooting while supporting service activity, documentation, and customer interactions in a remote

Qualifications

• Experience with CMMs, metrology equipment, or industrial electronics is preferred.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and computer aptitude.
• Ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Assist with equipment installations, calibrations, and repairs.
• Perform service activities under supervision, then independently.
• Document service reports, calibration records, and expenses.
• Escalate complex issues to senior technicians or support.
