Job summary

ZEISS in Knoxville, TN is seeking a Field Service Technician to learn and service high-precision Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs). The role starts with a ~3 month in-field and classroom training, then travels to customer sites within the region to install, repair and calibrate advanced measuring instruments.

You will work hands-on with high-tech CMMs, document service work, and operate in a fast-paced environment with growth opportunities and a generous benefits package.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED or equivalent, or technical degree.
Experience with hand tools and basic electrical test equipment.
Valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

Complete a ~3 month in-field and classroom training to gain skills and tools.
Travel to customer sites in the region to install, repair, troubleshoot, service and calibrate CMMs.
Work hands-on with high-tech Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs).
Document service work and maintain accurate service records.
Work independently in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
