Job summary

Hitachi Energy USA Inc. is seeking a Field Service Manager to lead the GIS field service team and oversee high-voltage service operations across the United States. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and customer responsiveness, with heavy collaboration with Sales on opportunities.

You will develop service strategies, drive performance, and ensure adherence to company policies while guiding a skilled team. Travel 30–40% domestically and 5% internationally as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field; 8–10 years in electrical power/utility sectors.
• Minimum 3 years of people management in project-based environment.
• Experience with high-voltage installation, testing, SF6 gas-handling.
• Experience with up to 800 kV equipment; GIS and GCB knowledge preferred.

• Lead and own the GIS field service team with clear goals.
• Oversee high-voltage field service operations, quality, and compliance.
• Develop customer relationships and pursue service opportunities.
• Collaborate with Sales on contracts and improvement initiatives.
