Zusammenfassung

Hitachi Energy is seeking a seasoned Field Services professional to manage on-site GIS installation, testing, and commissioning across the United States for 69kV–550kV projects. You will coordinate field activities, supervise subcontractors, and ensure safety, quality, and adherence to project requirements.

You will lead testing, inspections, and documentation while collaborating with customers and project teams to support grid reliability and successful substation delivery.

Qualifikationen

• Work authorization to work in the United States.
• Minimum 10 years of field service or construction management experience, preferably in substations or high voltage equipment (69kV-550kV).
• Technical certificate or associate degree in an electrical or mechanical related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience supervising erection and testing activities for HV substations and equipment.
• Knowledge of safety procedures for energized HV substations.
• Valid vehicle operator's permit and OSHA 10 training (or ability to obtain).

Aufgaben

• Plan, execute, and manage on-site installation, testing, and commissioning of GIS equipment (69kV-550kV).
• Serve as Hitachi Energy's on-site representative to customers, subcontractors, inspectors, and local stakeholders.
• Supervise field teams and subcontractors to support quality, productivity, schedule, and safe work execution.
• Oversee adherence to drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project requirements.
• Perform and document field testing, including SF6 leak detection, gas analysis, timing, power factor, and contact resistance testing.
• Conduct inspections to determine maintenance needs and required repairs, supporting resource planning decisions.
• Plan and participate in on-site progress meetings and coordinate daily field activities.
• Prepare clear, accurate field documentation, reports, and project records.
• Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations and guidelines.
