Job summary

Honeywell Technologies is seeking a Field Service Engineer I to perform maintenance, audits, configuration, programming, installation, upgrades and migrations of Honeywell control systems including EXPERION PKS. You will work remotely from Virginia and other listed locations with up to 80% travel, reporting to the Field Service Manager.

Responsibilities include customer communication, system configuration and upgrades, legacy migration, and supporting sales while ensuring uninterrupted

Qualifications

• 4 years of professional experience in field service, technical operations, industrial maintenance, process automation, heavy manufacturing, or related fields.
• Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time – up to 2 weeks away from home at once (VA, NC, TN).
• Ability to obtain multiple L3 certifications within 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Periodic communication with customers regarding technical and administrative issues.
• Provide customer support on Honeywell Control Systems and serve as a customer contact for service-related issues and inquiries.
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Honeywell hardware/software including Experion PKS, LCN, and TPS.
• Upgrade Experion software from one release to another on live control systems without interrupting processes.
• Migrate legacy Honeywell control systems to new technology offerings.
• Understand customer key processes and translate them into business opportunities.
• Assist Sales during pursuits and represent Honeywell to end-users.
• Learn end-to-end product/solution development, delivery, and execution.
• Apply technical expertise to improve customer experience.
