Job summary
Honeywell is seeking an Advanced Field Service Engineer to provide advanced technical support and expertise for customers using Experion PKS, TPS/TDC300, and related Honeywell control systems. You will perform maintenance, configuration, upgrades, migrations, and installations while building strong customer relationships from the Houston, TX location on a remote work schedule.
You will travel extensively (80–90%), collaborate with Sales, and ensure delivery excellence and customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- 3+ years of field service engineering experience.
- 3+ years of DCS software migration experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
- L4 certification on Experion or TPS.
- Experience with Experion PKS hardware & software.
- Willingness to travel 80-90% domestically to customer sites.
- Valid Driver’s license.
- 3rd party controls experience.
- Networking and switch configuration knowledge.
- Project management experience (budgets, schedules, resources).
Responsibilities
- Communicate with customers about technical and administrative issues.
- Provide customer support on Honeywell control systems.
- Configure, maintain and troubleshoot Experion PKS and other systems.
- Upgrade Experion software on live systems without interrupting processes.
- Migrate legacy Honeywell systems to new technologies.
- Translate customer processes into business opportunities.
- Assist Sales during pursuits and represent Honeywell to end-users.
- Learn end-to-end product development and delivery processes.
- Leverage Honeywell solutions to improve customer experience.
