Job summary

Honeywell Technologies is seeking a Field Service Engineer I to perform maintenance, upgrades, migrations, and configurations on EXPERION PKS and TPS/TDC3000. You will travel up to 80% across VA, NC, TN, and beyond, spending up to two weeks away from home as needed.

You will work under the Field Service Manager, delivering expert support to ensure uninterrupted industrial processes and high customer satisfaction while expanding Honeywell technology migrations.

Qualifications

• 4 years of professional experience in field service, technical operations, or related areas.
• Willingness to travel up to 80% and up to 2 weeks away from home.
• Ability to obtain multiple L3 certificates within 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Periodic communication with customers regarding technical and administrative issues.
• Provide customer support on Honeywell Control Systems and serve as a customer contact for service-related issues and enquiries.
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Honeywell hardware/software issues including Experion PKS and other DCS hardware/software such as LCN & TPS.
• Upgrade Experion software from one release to another on live control systems without causing interruption to customer’s industrial process.
• Migrate legacy Honeywell control systems to Honeywell’s new technology offerings.
• Understand customer key processes and economic drivers to translate those into business opportunities.
• Assist Sales during sales pursuits and represent Honeywell to end-users.
• Learn the end-to-end product/solution development, delivery, and execution of Honeywell products and solutions.
• Use technical expertise in sophisticated Honeywell solutions and product offerings to improve customer experience.
