Job summary
Honeywell Technologies is seeking a Field Service Engineer I to perform maintenance, upgrades, migrations, installation and configuration of complex Honeywell control systems. You will travel up to 80% to customer sites from VA, NC, TN and beyond, reporting to the Field Service Manager and working remotely from various locations.
The role emphasizes customer relationships, expert technical support, and successful technology migrations with 2 weeks away per trip.
Qualifications
- 4 years of professional experience in related fields such as field service or industrial maintenance.
- Ability to travel up to 80% of the time (VA, NC, TN) and be away up to 2 weeks at a time.
- Ability to obtain multiple L3 certifications within 18 months.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer support on Honeywell Control Systems and serve as a customer contact for service issues.
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot control systems including Experion PKS and other DCS hardware.
- Upgrade Experion software on live systems without interrupting operations.
- Migrate legacy Honeywell control systems to new technology offerings.
- Communicate with customers regularly and assist Sales during pursuits.
