Job summary

Honeywell is seeking a Field Service Engineer I to perform maintenance, audits, configuration, programming, installation/commissioning, upgrades and migrations of Honeywell control systems including EXPERION PKS and TPS/TDC3000. You will travel up to 80% across VA/NC/TN and be away from home up to two weeks at a time, delivering expert technical support and ensuring uninterrupted industrial processes.

You will report to the Field Service Manager and contribute to customer satisfaction,

Qualifications

• 4 years of professional experience in field service/technical operations/industrial maintenance.
• Travel up to 80% of time, up to 2 weeks away from home.
• Ability to obtain multiple L3 certifications within 18 months.
• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math.
• Experience upgrading/migrating legacy control systems without disrupting processes.
• Experience with control systems and Industrial IT environments.
• Software configuration, migration, project engineering, virtualization, cyber process control, electrical work.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers on technical and admin issues.
• Provide customer support for Honeywell Control Systems.
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware/software (Exp. PKS, LCN, TPS).
• Upgrade Experion software on live systems without interrupting processes.
• Migrate legacy control systems to new Honeywell technology.
• Translate customer processes into business opportunities with timely research.
