Job summary

Grifols, S.A. is seeking a Field Service Engineer I to deliver high‑quality service at customer sites and via remote access. The role covers Norfolk, VA and surrounding areas, with up to 70% travel and 100% remote work from home.

You’ll manage maintenance, upgrades and regulatory documentation in CRM and coordinate with cross‑functional teams. You’ll need strong organizational and communication skills, plus the ability to troubleshoot electromechanical and medical devices.

Qualifications

• Equivalent military experience or a degree alternative with relevant field experience.
• Experience with lab/electro-mechanical equipment is preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 70% and operate from a home office.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer relationships and respond to inquiries within designated timeframes.
• Coordinate hardware upgrades and regulatory documentation.
• Install, qualify and upgrade software and hardware components.
• Schedule preventative maintenance and coordinate parts delivery.
• Collaborate with Global Response Team for complex cases.
• Document all activities accurately in the CRM.
