Job summary

Danaher Corporation’s SCIEX division seeks a Field Service Engineer I to maintain, install, and repair mass spectrometers and related analytical instruments at customer sites regionally. The role involves up to 50% travel and remote work with a focus on quality service and customer satisfaction.

A technical degree (AS or BS) in Life Sciences or Engineering is required, with LCMS or capillary electrophoresis experience. Strong safety and administrative skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• AS or BS in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Engineering or equivalent experience (e.g. Military Electronics/Avionics Certificates).
• LCMS and/or capillary electrophoresis experience is required.
• Experience with electrical and electrical mechanical technology and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, install, and repair instrumentation at internal and external customer sites, including strategic accounts.
• Travel up to 50% overnight; work remotely to cover MN, ND, SD, IA and WI.
• Complete administration duties: log service activities, expense reporting, inventory, etc.
