Job summary

SCIEX, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Field Service Engineer I to install, maintain and repair instrumentation at internal and external customer sites across the upper Midwest and beyond. You will travel up to 50% (domestic/international) and mentor junior staff, ensuring quality service on mass spectrometers and LCMS systems, with a focus on safety, documentation, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with LCMS and capillary electrophoresis.
• Ability to travel up to 50% (domestic/international).
• Vendor credentialing requirements met.
• Experience servicing mass spectrometry instrumentation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair instrumentation at internal and customer sites.
• Provide qualifications services and customer training.
• Log service activities, expenses, and manage inventory.
• Mentor less experienced staff.
