Job summary

SCIEX, a Danaher operating company, is seeking a Field Service Engineer I to install, repair, and maintain mass spectrometers and related instrumentation at customer sites. You will travel domestically and internationally, provide training, and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction while adhering to safety and credentialing requirements.

The role supports a remote work arrangement with potential up to 50% travel, reporting to the District Service Manager within the Field Technical Service

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Engineering or equivalent experience.
• LCMS and/or capillary electrophoresis experience is required.
• Prior experience using and/or servicing mass spectrometry or scientific instrumentation.
• Meet Vendor Credentialing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair and maintain mass spectrometers, HPLC and/or capillary electrophoresis instrumentation.
• Perform qualifications services and customer training.
• Travel up to 50% overnight to support internal and external customers.
• Log service activities, manage inventory and complete administration tasks.
