Job summary

Danaher Corporation, within SCIEX, seeks a Field Service Engineer I to install, repair and maintain mass spectrometry and related instruments at customer sites across a broad geographic area. You will work remotely, travel up to 50% and support high-priority scientific instrumentation in life sciences and analytical labs.

The role requires an AS or BA/BS in Life Sciences, Chemistry or Engineering, with hands-on instrument experience and a customer-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• A.S. or Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience installing, repairing and maintaining mass spectrometers, HPLC and capillary electrophoresis instrumentation.
• Ability to travel up to 50% domestically/internationally and work with customers at multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair and maintain instrumentation at internal and external customer sites.
• Resolve technical issues and provide customer training when needed.
• Complete administration duties such as logging service activities, expense reporting and inventory.
