Job summary

Danaher Corporation’s SCIEX unit is seeking a Field Service Engineer I to install, maintain and repair mass spectrometry and related instrumentation at customer sites across the region. The role requires independent problem solving and mentoring of less experienced staff.

The position reports to the District Service Manager and allows remote work arrangements; domestic travel up to 50% may be required, with potential for international travel.

Qualifications

• Requires LCMS and/or capillary electrophoresis experience.
• Experience servicing mass spectrometry or scientific instrumentation.
• Strong troubleshooting and safety protocol adherence.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, install and repair instrumentation at customer sites and internal locations.
• Perform qualification services and customer training, ensuring satisfaction at strategic accounts.
• Complete administration duties (logging service activities, expense reporting, inventory).
