Job summary

SCIEX, a Danaher operating company, is seeking a Field Service Engineer I to install, calibrate, repair and maintain mass spectrometers, HPLC and related instruments at customer sites. You will work remotely across WI and neighboring states, with up to 50% overnight travel and mentorship duties for junior staff.

The role requires LCMS and capillary electrophoresis experience, an Associate's or Bachelor's in Life Sciences or Engineering, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree (A.S./A.A.S) or Bachelor's degree (B.S./B.A.) in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Engineering or equivalent experience.
• LCMS and/or capillary electrophoresis experience is required, prior experience using and/or servicing mass spectrometry or scientific instrumentation.
• Meet Vendor Credentialing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair and maintain instrumentation at internal and external customer sites, including strategic accounts.
• Troubleshoot and resolve customer and technical issues independently; mentor less experienced staff.
