Job summary

SCIEX, a Danaher operating company, is seeking a Field Service Engineer I to install, repair and maintain analytical instruments at customer sites, including strategic accounts. You will work remotely to cover multiple states and travel up to 50% with a focus on LCMS and capillary electrophoresis systems.

You will mentor less experienced staff and report to the District Service Manager, handling administrative duties and ensuring customer satisfaction at each engagement.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Engineering or equivalent experience.
• LCMS and/or capillary electrophoresis experience required; servicing mass spectrometry instrumentation preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically/internationally; valid driver's license with clean record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical requirements of field service work.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair and maintain mass spectrometers, HPLC and/or capillary electrophoresis instrumentation.
• Perform qualifications services and customer training; ensure customer satisfaction at strategic accounts.
• Complete administration duties (logging service activities, expense reporting, inventory).
