Job summary

Danaher Corporation’s SCIEX unit is hiring a Field Service Engineer I to install, maintain, and repair mass spectrometers and related instruments at customer sites. Travel up to 50% domestically is required, with opportunities to mentor junior staff and support technical service teams.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Engineering or equivalent.
• LCMS and/or capillary electrophoresis experience required with servicing mass spectrometry instruments.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally and meet credentialing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, install, and repair instrumentation at customer sites and internal locations.
• Mentor less experienced staff and resolve complex customer issues.
• Complete administration tasks and support field service operations.
