Job summary

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is seeking a Field Service Engineer in Traverse City, MI to ensure optimal performance of Chemistry and Immunoassay instruments and lab automation. You will troubleshoot, install, validate, and perform preventative maintenance and service repairs, while assisting with training of newer engineers.

Qualifications

• Associate degree (technical/biomedical/electrical engineering) or equivalent military experience or high school diploma.
• 1 year experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, robotics, electronic equipment, and/or instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Under minimal direction, troubleshoot, install, validate, perform preventative maintenance, modifications, and service repair on Beckman Coulter equipment, including training customers on products.
• Maintain accurate customer service logs, order parts, and meet cycle times; use systems like OBI, Salesforce, and SharePoint for planning and team goals.
• Communicate with internal/external customers and assist in training newer Field Service Engineers.
