Job summary

Onto Innovation is seeking a Field Service Engineer 2 to install, calibrate, and commission complex electro/mechanical equipment at customer sites. You will work under the Ramp Manager to ensure installations are safe, efficient, and meet performance standards, providing hands-on troubleshooting and system integration support.

Qualifications

• BS in electronics, mechanical or related technical discipline, or equivalent military/technical experience.
• 3–5 years of field service, installation or technical support.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally; valid travel documents.

Responsibilities

• Execute installation and configuration of complex electro/mechanical equipment and software at customer sites.
• Support ramp activities by performing installations under standard and escalated conditions.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues during installation and startup.
