Job summary

mechatronic systemtechnik gmbh is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, calibrate, and test equipment at customer sites, ensuring successful handover and performance. The role requires hands-on maintenance, efficient problem-solving, and strong communication with clients in a fast-paced environment.

The position involves travel, on-call work, and collaboration with the service and engineering teams to keep systems running smoothly while meeting safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in technical support, maintenance, or field installations.
• Experience in the semiconductor industry is helpful but not required.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and/or electronic systems.
• Familiarity with technical drawings and schematics.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to travel frequently and work on-call when needed.

Responsibilities

• Install new equipment or systems at customer sites and configure to meet standards.
• Calibrate machinery and perform initial tests for successful handover to the client.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and diagnose faults.
• Repair or replace components to keep equipment running with minimal downtime.
• Document service activities and report issues to engineering teams.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure satisfaction.
