We’re looking for a Field Service Engineer who thrives in dynamic environments and takes pride in ensuring complex systems perform safely, efficiently, and exactly to spec.
What You’ll Do
- Execute on-site start-up, commissioning, and performance optimization of advanced electrical and mechanical systems
- Conduct detailed equipment inspections to verify proper installation and operational readiness
- Analyze performance data during system trials to ensure equipment meets or exceeds standards
- Deliver hands‑on and classroom training to customer personnel with clear, structured lesson plans
- Provide technical support for preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting issues in the field
- Review specifications and provide field markups to support engineering “as‑built” revisions
- Coordinate and oversee on‑site vendors, contractors, and project activities to maintain schedule and quality
- Perform site inspections, diagnose operational challenges, and uphold high‑quality standards
- Prepare and present clear technical reports, documenting performance, findings, and project milestones
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field (equivalent experience considered)
- 5+ years of field service experience with mechanical, electrical, and high‑speed rotating equipment
- Strong ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings, as well as O&M manuals
- Proficiency with control panels, motor starters, AC/DC drives, and instrumentation
- Experience with programmable controllers and operator interface terminals (highly desirable)
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and commitment to delivering high‑quality work
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage projects, build customer rapport, and problem‑solve in real time
- Willingness to travel extensively—up to 75%, including long‑term domestic and international assignments
