Job summary

Leica Biosystems, part of Danaher, seeks a Field Service Engineer II to support installation, maintenance, and repair of medical instruments across the Northwest US, with a fully remote work arrangement.

Role involves troubleshooting, service administration, and collaboration with sales on contracts and configurations. Travel up to 90% is required; a valid driver's license and ability to lift 50 lbs are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree plus 3+ years of experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, robotics, electronic equipment, and/or instrumentation or equivalent military experience.
• Travel up to 90% (domestic; may include international) with valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, additional certifications a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide installation support, maintenance, modification and/or repair on 1–2 groups of mechanical, electromechanical, electronic and/or refrigeration instruments.
• Document and complete service administration activities in a timely manner to follow ISO, FDA, and Leica policies.
• Actively support the sale of service contracts, assist sales representatives and team members with system configurations/upgrades.
