Job summary
Leica Biosystems, part of Danaher, is hiring a Field Service Engineer II to support installation, maintenance, and service on diagnostic instruments. This role is fully remote within the Northwest US region and reports to the Regional Field Service Manager.
Travel up to 90% domestically, with occasional international travel. Requires an Associate’s degree and 3+ years of hands-on repair experience; BS preferred. Competitive hourly pay and bonus eligibility with comprehensive benefits.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree + 3+ years diagnosing and repairing mechanical/electromechanical instrumentation or equivalent military experience
- Experience diagnosing and repairing medical devices/electromechanical equipment is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree is a plus for several roles and advanced projects
Responsibilities
- Provide installation support, maintenance, modification and/or repair on 1-2 groups of instruments
- Document service activities in line with ISO, FDA, and Leica policies
- Support sales of service contracts and assist with system configurations/upgrades
