Job summary

Leica Biosystems is hiring a Field Service Engineer II to support installation, maintenance, and repair of diagnostic instruments. The role reports to the Regional Field Service Manager and is fully remote in the Northwest US region, with up to 90% travel to customer sites.

You will ensure compliance with ISO and FDA policies, document service activities, and collaborate with sales to configure upgrades and service contracts. A strong mechanical/electromechanical background is required.

Qualifications

• Assoc. degree + 3+ years diagnosing/repairing mechanical/electromechanical/robotic/electronic equipment
• Equivalent military experience accepted

Responsibilities

• Provide installation, maintenance, modification and/or repair on multiple mechanical/electromechanical/electronic instruments.
• Document and complete service administration activities following ISO, FDA and Leica policies.
• Support sale of service contracts and assist sales with configurations/upgrades; provide feedback to improve service revenue.
