Job summary

Leica Biosystems seeks a Field Service Engineer II to support customers remotely from Orlando or Jacksonville, with up to 90% travel. You will install, maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic instruments, document service activities and contribute to service revenue through upgrades and contracts.

Essential qualifications include an Associate’s degree with 3+ years field service (or a Science BA/BS with 1+ year), and the ability to work within ISO and FDA policies.

Qualifications

• Associate degree with 3+ years field service OR Bachelor's in Science with 1+ year experience or equivalent military experience.
• This role requires up to 90% travel; domestic with possible international.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing medical devices is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide installation, maintenance, modification or repair on mechanical/electromechanical/electronic instruments.
• Document service activities to ISO, FDA, and Leica policies.
• Support service contracts and configurations/upgrades; contribute to service revenue.
