Job summary

Abbott Diagnostics is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support Abbott diagnostic instruments in Seattle, WA. You will perform installations, preventive maintenance, and on-site troubleshooting, collaborating with sales and cross-functional teams to meet service goals.

Travel up to 75%, require a valid driver’s license, and demonstrate strong problem-solving and communication skills. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required; an engineering degree is preferred, with remote work framed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferable (Bio Medical/Electrical/Mechanical).
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills; ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site support to Abbott Diagnostics customers.
• Perform installations and preventive maintenance of instruments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve customer instrument issues and document outcomes.
• Mentor other Field Service Representatives and share knowledge.
