Abbott is seeking a Field Service Engineer II for a field-based, remote role in the Diagnostics Division. The candidate will install, maintain, and troubleshoot diagnostic instruments, manage a Boston-based territory, and travel up to 30% to support customers and ensure quality service.

Required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent, 2–5 years in engineering or lab tech, and ability to travel 30%. Must have a valid driver's license. Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills are essential.

Responsabilidades

• Install and maintain diagnostic systems with installations, preventive maintenance, and repairs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across instruments and document resolutions.
• Own customer satisfaction by managing issues from start to finish.
• Plan service visits, manage inventory, and support on-call rotation and travel for training.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, quality, and safety guidelines during service activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor other Field Service Representatives.
• Aim to meet service sales, cost of service, and KPI targets.
• Use remote tools to maximize instrument uptime and pursue ongoing training.
