Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker is seeking an Application Engineer - Field Service to provide technical support and customer training for rivet assembly tools in North America. You will work remotely in Michigan with travel to customer sites, supporting warranty, repairs and service strategies while collaborating with sales, applications engineering and product management teams.

You will lead on-site trainings, evaluate spare parts requirements and help drive product improvements, with 65% travel

Qualifications

• 5 years of hands-on mechanical maintenance experience on hydraulic, pneumatic and electric tooling.
• Experience with rivet assembly tooling and cold-head processes is preferred.
• Knowledge of inspection, measurement and quality practices and root-cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote technical support for rivet tooling in NA markets.
• Train customers, sales teams and service partners on tooling and repair procedures.
• Log warranty returns, diagnose failures and recommend design changes for improvements.
• Manage spare parts inventory, demonstrate tooling and support field service calls.
• Create training materials, participate in tool verifications and support quality teams.
