Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker seeks a Trade Specialist to drive sales in the Los Angeles area. You will work remotely in the territory, selling DEWALT, BLACK+DECKER, CRAFTSMAN and other brands to end-user customers, building key relationships and supporting market development.

You will mentor local teams, coordinate with Channel Marketing, and leverage SalesForce.com for planning and reporting. A business-focused background and travel up to 50% are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, or related fields preferred.
• 3+ years of sales or marketing experience in construction supplies with track record of results.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, problem-solving, verbal and written communication, organization, and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Achieve top-line sales targets based on division and local market goals through selling multiple brands to end-user customers.
• Establish, develop, and maintain key relationships with end-user partners and manage user contracts and programs.
• Teach and mentor local market teams on End User development and purchasing processes.
• Partner with Channel Marketing to implement and coordinate marketing initiatives.
• Maintain and use Salesforce.com as a CRM and planning tool, communicating results to improve processes.
