Job summary

Samtec Inc in the Seattle market seeks a Field Sales Engineer to drive design-wins by aligning customer tech needs with Samtec’s product development capabilities. You will service customers across OEM and tech-electronics sectors, building strong relationships and delivering solutions.

The role is remote, requires 5+ years OEM or component sales in technical industries, and a Bachelor's in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering (Business degree acceptable with relevant experience).

Qualifications

• 5+ years of OEM sales experience in a technical industry.
• Component sales experience in a technical industry.
• Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills with customers.
• Must be able to sit/stand for at least 90 consecutive minutes.

Responsibilities

• Develop design-wins by aligning customer needs with Samtec product design and development.
• Service the customer by any and all means necessary.
• Call on technology/micro-electronic and manufacturing customers at various levels.
• Establish strong organizational systems and appointment-setting practices.
• Exceed sales objectives within the territory.
