Job summary

Amgen in Cleveland, OH is seeking a Field Reimbursement Manager to support the Bone Health business. You will manage defined accounts, drive patient access strategies, and ensure proper reimbursement processes across the region.

You will educate providers, coordinate with HUB partners, and navigate payer requirements, with up to 40% travel. Remote work options are available as part of a hybrid schedule.

Qualifications

• Two years of public or private third-party access arena or pharmaceutical industry experience in managed care, clinical support, and/or sales.
• Strong medical reimbursement experience and/or specialty pharmacy and buy & bill knowledge.
• Proven presentation and facilitation skills.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Organizational skills and project management experience with multiple projects.
• Experience in healthcare including insurance verification, claims adjudication, physician offices or clinics, pharmacies, and/or pharmaceutical manufacturers.
• Experience with hubs and knowledge of billing, coding, and appeals.
• Ability to lead cross-functional partner meetings and collaborate with teams.
• Experience with commercial payers, Medicare plans, and state Medicaid in a geographic region.

Responsibilities

• Act as extension of the HUB, providing live one-on-one coverage support.
• Educate healthcare providers on payer coverage and changes that impact patient product access.
• Coordinate access/reimbursement issues with relevant partners, including the HUB.
• Review patient insurance benefit options and alternate funding/financial assistance programs.
• Provide information to healthcare providers on product coverage under the benefit design.
• Lead meetings with cross-functional partners to resolve reimbursement issues.
