Job summary

Amgen seeks a Field Reimbursement Manager in the Greater Miami area to support the Bone Health business. You will manage defined accounts, oversee reimbursement strategies, and educate providers on payer coverage. The role requires strong leadership, reimbursement knowledge, and collaboration with HUB, sales, and medical teams.

You will travel up to 40% and work remotely with two in-region office days as needed, driving patient access through payer processes and benefit investigations.

Qualifications

• Requires advanced degree(s) in a relevant field.
• Minimum two years in public or private third-party access or pharma field.
• Strong medical reimbursement or specialty pharmacy knowledge.
• Proven presentation and facilitation skills.
• Strong written and oral communication and project management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage defined accounts in a geographic region for patient access and reimbursement.
• Support payer prior authorization, appeals, and denials in the reimbursement journey.
• Educate healthcare providers on payer coverage and changes affecting access.
• Collaborate with HUB and other departments to resolve reimbursement issues.
• Coordinate access/reimbursement strategies with cross-functional teams.
• Review patient insurance benefits and alternative funding/financial assistance where needed.
• Travel up to 40% to support field activities and customer meetings.
