Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Field Reimbursement Manager in Miami, FL to support the Bone Health business. You will manage defined accounts in the Greater Miami area, execute the territory strategic plan, and educate healthcare providers on payer coverage and patient access programs.

The role requires travel and strong collaboration with HUB and cross‑functional teams to resolve reimbursement issues and optimize patient access.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in public or private third‑party access arena or pharmaceutical industry in managed care, clinical support, and/or sales.
• Strong medical reimbursement experience and/or Specialty Pharmacy and Buy & Bill knowledge.
• Proven presentation and facilitation skills.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Organizational skills and project management experience, including the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Experience with hubs and in‑depth knowledge of issues related to billing, coding, and appeals across physician types.
• Experience with commercial payers, Medicare plans, and state Medicaid in a geographic region.

Responsibilities

• Manage defined accounts within a geographic region for patient access and reimbursement.
• Execute the collaborative territory strategic plan and educate HCPs on payer coverage.
• Support the reimbursement journey from prior authorization to denials/appeals.
• Coordinate access/reimbursement issues with HUB and cross‑functional partners.
• Educate offices on formulary coverage, benefits investigation, and claims processes.
• Travel up to 40% and work remote 2 days a week.
